The Housekeeping History command on the Housekeeping Menu will show you in list form all rooms by Date order (most recent first) that have been assigned for Housekeeping, the name (first, then last) of the person whom assigned the room, the name (again, first then last) of the Housekeeper whom was assigned to clean the room, and the date that the Assignment was completed, with any DND (do not disturb) notices and comments made about the room via the Housekeepers Dashboard also being shown.
This allows you to see quickly if the assignments have been completed and by whom, as well as other information such as seeing how many rooms each Housekeeper is being assigned to regularly, and whom is doing the assigning.
Select Housekeeping History from the Housekeeping Menu.
Depending on your Skyware Systems set-up, you may or may not have a quick menu option for via the Housekeepers Dashboard, Housekeeping.
If you can, Select Housekeeping => from the Quick Menu on the left side of the screen, to open the Housekeeping Menu screen.
Or you can reach the Housekeeping Menu using the Full Menu.
Click the icon on the left for the Full menu.
This will display the Full menu in a tabular form, with four sections, Registration, Status, Cashier and Other.
From the Other Section, select Housekeeping =>.
The Housekeeping Menu screen will open when accessed.
The Housekeeping Menu has two sections, Housekeeping Menu 1 and Housekeeping Menu 2. Housekeeping History is in Housekeeping Menu 1.
When accessed the Housekeeping History screen will open.
This screen is a RECORD of your Housekeeping assignments, and as such you cannot ENTER data here. You can however SEARCH for information.
Assigned: This is a drop-down menu listing all possible people that may ASSIGN rooms as requiring Housekeeping services. By default, the list is displayed alphabetically on each date. The options here include both first and last name fields.
Room #: This is a drop-down menu of your Rooms, by number. You can choose a particular room number to display, and the list will then be generated to show only the entries associated with that room number, with most recent first.
Housekeeper: This is a drop-down menu listing all possible people that may BE ASSIGNED rooms that require Housekeeping services. By default, the list is displayed alphabetically on each date. The options here include both first and last name fields.
Note: If there are no entries for a particular Assigner, Room number, or Housekeeper, a pop-up window will appear advising you of this.
When the Housekeeping assignment has been entered into Skyware Systems as being completed, there will be a corresponding entry into the Completed column of this table, showing when (day, date and time) the Housekeeping was ENTERED as being completed.
Note: This does not necessarily reflect when Housekeeping services were actually performed, rather when that information was added to your system.
